A White-Clad Destination Wedding in Israel
“Talya and Daniel held their destination wedding in Israel, where the couple had wanted a beach or seaside wedding from the moment they got engaged. They opted for Al Hayam, in Kibbutz Sdot Yam, a place rich in Jewish history, something that was also special and important for the couple. Their destination wedding planner, Adi Porat Tavor for Simcha Maker, shared with us the story behind their big day.
“Talya and Daniel are Jewish and raised with a deep Jewish affinity. They knew once they got engaged that they will get married in Israel over looking the sea. They chose the date like most of the British couples choose, the weekend of the bank holiday where their guests can come for a long weekend, last weekend of May (there is also another one over the last weekend of August).”
“The location can fit up to 400 guests, however for an over sea event, when all the guests are sitting during the chuppa, we highly recommend not to have more than 200 guests, 220 Max.”
“Talya and Daniel approached us via email. We set a Skype chat and we talked over 2 hours – this was our first date 🙂 we understood what they were looking to have and we felt the great chemistry between us. Talya had a very special design taste and from day one, she knew what she wanted. I had to introduce her a very creative designer so we would all make sure Talya’s dream will come true. The decor was a romantic, very trendy and lots of touches that created the vibe of the event.”
Congratulations to the newlyweds!”
